Breathe Director of Sustainability, Bonnie Herring, has been named the inaugural sustainability judge at this year’s Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA), Australia’s oldest independent architecture and interior design awards.  Bonnie says sustainability is “not something you attach to the building, it’s something that is embedded in its DNA”. She will be looking for exemplary projects that are focused on reducing operational carbon emissions as well as embodied emissions. “So projects that really consider a net-zero pathway in their designs” and are fossil fuel-free in operation.
