The Australian Institute of Architects commits to carbon neutrality

The climate crisis is the most challenging and urgent issue facing our time. At Breathe, we recognise that as architects we are uniquely placed to help lead the transition to a carbon free future. Breathe has been carbon neutral since 2017. In excellent news, The Australian Institute of Architects, the peak body for the architecture profession in Australia, has committed to their carbon neutral journey and has called on the Australian Government to establish a national plan towards zero carbon buildings by 2030. In addition, the Institute is urging all architecture practices to get on board and has setup a dedicated page with all the resources and information needed to join more than 200 architecture firms that have already begun their process towards becoming carbon neutral.
